Shipping & Returns

Rush Shipping (UPS Next Day, 2nd Day, and 3 Day Select):
It is important to know that UPS rush services do not deliver on Saturday or Sunday. If you need a rush package to arrive on the weekend, please select a faster service. For example, if you order on Wednesday, pick 2nd Day instead of 3 Day Select so the package can arrive on Friday. If this is not possible, please consider contacting us for other possible options.

We prefer to ship domestic orders by UPS, but may also use other methods when appropriate. You can place your order online, over the phone, or through the mail.

We ship worldwide. Please be aware that international orders present us with a unique set of requirements so allow a few extra days for international orders. Many packages over 42 inches in length cannot be shipped to other countries. If we encounter any problems we will contact you. International shipping rates made through our online system are estimates only. If the actual shipping amount is over the amount quoted by the automated system, we will contact you for your approval. We appreciate your understanding.

How long will it take to receive my order if I order online?
We normally ship orders on the same day they are received. Orders shipped by UPS Next Day Service, UPS Second Day Service, or UPS Three Day Service should be placed before 11:00AM US Central Standard Time. If we do not receive the order before 11:00 we will still attempt to ship on the same day but we can not guarantee it. We are located in Austin, TX. Orders shipped within Texas usually arrive within one business day. All other orders usually arrive within two to five business days depending on your distance from Texas. Please see the UPS map below for a more accurate estimate of shipping times.

What is your returns procedure?
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not, you may return the package within thirty days after the date of purchase. Please contact us by telephone (800) 648-8680 or email support@worldwindkites.com. We will give you detailed instructions and let you know if we require a Return Authorization Number.

What do I do if I receive a damaged package?
If your order was damaged in shipping, call UPS at 800-742-5877 or the Post Office at 800-275-8777 and report the damage. They will start a claim and notify us so that we can send you a replacement. Do NOT send the damaged items back to us. Both UPS and the Post Office require the recipient to file damage claims. Keep the box and all packing materials in case the carrier wants to check them. Packages without a postmark have been shipped by UPS. (Please contact us at support@worldwindkites.com if you have questions)
